Kiss Uranus

I have often longed for space flight only to know I will never land on the surface of Uranus and place my lips upon its sweet soil (or whatever it is).

Verse One
I can stand in my yard
And just gaze at the stars
I wonder if I'll ever
Adventure so far

Verse Two
If I only had wings
A strong faith I'm assured
I could fly to distant planets
And discover new worlds

Chorus
Now I'll never Kiss Uranus, It's much too far away
I've never been to Venus or Mars
Or danced across the Milky Way
Both my feet are firmly planted, on this rock we call our home
I've got that far off look in my eyes
This boy was meant to roam

Verse Three
A man can have dreams
About those things up above
I hope that maybe someday I find enough courage and love

Verse Four
And In my darkest hour
I just stare at my feet
And pray that I will never
Succumb to defeat
