I play guitar, sing some songs, and do technical things.
I have been playing music in the greater Phoenix, Arizona megatropolis since 1979. I have played just about every open mic as a solo act — I have even played at a McDonald's in McCormick Ranch.
About ten years ago I joined a three-piece rock and roll band called 8 Ball. When I'm not writing, producing, or playing with the band, I'm usually doing something technical — writing code or learning a new technology.
I fancy myself a bit of a writer, too. I'm currently working on two books: The AI Wars and a pseudo-non-fiction called The Digital Citizen (currently under wraps).
I'm a prolific songwriter — I write songs almost every day. Most of them are total crap. But every once in a while, one gets through. When you browse the discography, click any record and listen to the whole thing, for free.
